It is said that The Miotti family invented the process in the Seventeenth Century. Known as "aventurine glass," stellaria, gold star glass, monkstone or monk's gold. The legend say that goldstone was created accidentally by Italian monks in the 1600s, however, an amulet from Iran that dates to the 1100s to 1200s, prove that the discovery of the process has been in the human history before The Miotti Family.
